The Garricks Head is a fantastic pub right at the heart of the Flixton community in Trafford. Our stunning Tudor-style pub has stood proudly in Greater Manchester since 1830 and is named after famous 18th Century actor David Garrick! It’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy your favourite drinks whatever the occasion!

Great to see The Garricks head Pub featured on BBC Breakfast this morning — what an achievement for the whole team.
The landlady has done an incredible job transforming the pub into a real community hub. Winning the Publican of the Year Award for Sports and Entertainment was already a massive accomplishment, and now getting national recognition on the BBC just shows how much hard work and passion has gone into the place.
The pub has stood strong through all the challenges hospitality has faced over the years, and it’s brilliant to see it thriving. From the huge tournament atmospheres to bringing local people together, it’s become somewhere that everybody meets, celebrates, and enjoys great times with family and friends.
Really looking forward to seeing what plans they have for the World Cup — if previous tournaments are anything to go by, it’s going to be fantastic.
Let’s all continue to support our local pubs and businesses. This is exactly what pubs are about: community, friendships, families coming together, and creating memories.Great to see The Garrett Pub featured on BBC Breakfast this morning — what an achievement for the whole team.

Lively, award winning pub with friendly helpful staff.
Great choice of meals and a new pizza option recently added.
Entertainment over the Bank Holiday has been comprehensive with bouncy castle for the kids, a DJ during the evenings and of course plenty of sports on the numerous tvs both inside and out.
If you have some free time I highly recommend you visit Dawn and her team at the Garricks Head and take advantage of the regular evening events or simply enjoy a pint and a bite in the glorious beer garden.
